You may or may not heard of us, the World Extreme Fight League, otherwise known as the WEFL.
We are an EA MMA stock fighter league, and have held over 30 events since the founding of this league shortly after the launch of EA Sports MMA.
Here's an excerpt taken from a thread on the website.
"The WEFL roster is thin right now. One thing I've noticed is that the majority of fighters claimed are at the top of their division stat wise. We all know these fighters, Henderson, Mousasi, Diaz, Fedor, etc.
These fighters have a significant advantage over most of their division. My theory is most people aren't signing up because of this dilemma. Everyone wants the top guys or they don't want to play at all, and for good reason.
I'm going to keep this short and sweet.
What I want to introduce to you is a style of play called "bum fights". That's what I call it at least.
We would ban all of the great fighters, and people would be forced to choose the crappier guys like Lindland, Sakurai, Sapp, and so on. So it definitely evens the playing field out, and makes the game a ton more fun. I do these fights all the time, they are a blast.
I think ultimately this would be the best for the league as it would make things more fun and a lot more interesting."
That about sums it up. If you are sick of facing Mousasi, Hendo, Fedor, and those guys constantly, and are forced to choose the same fighters over and over again to keep up with them, and want a change then definitely check us out.
I'm very excited about it and so are our members.
