Look at the stats. When I 1st saw them I was suspicious but wrote it off as he went thru career. I was still going to check but gave him the benefit of the doubt going into the fight. Well the fight happened and his guy was EXTREMELY strong. He rocked me with ease wether it was a counter or just a simple punch. After the fight I did the steps above and sure enuf he used a glitch CAF. I sent him a message calling him a glitched CAF using *. Here was his reply:

lol Not only did he lie about his punch power and range being 100 but he tried to claim his CAF had 100 kicks which is still impossible at LHW. lol The max kicks is 95. Only HWs can have 100 kicks. He clearly copied over a HW boxer's stat set with Thiago Silva. I tried to tell him there is a way to see but I guess he didnt believe me. He then sends a few more messages calling me a liar and that I cant see his stats, I'm just a sore loser making excuses, etc. Here is one of those containing another lie.

Only boxer CAFs can have 100 chin. The max for Muay Thai is 95. Sorry loN CaPoNe, your another cheating scum who's new name is loN SoNnEn. lol If any of you feel someone used a glitched CAF use the steps above and if possible take pictures like I did and expose them. Hopefully EA will ban them or at least take them off the leader boards. Oh and some cheaters have gotten smart and blend their glitches CAFs in with regular CAFs by lowering some stats so the overalls wont be obviously high so if you feel they were just oddly too strong check anyway.|||Ive fought both of you...

And the thing is, people who are doing this are not tampering or hacking their system at all they are just doing something thats right there and quite easy to do so I don't see how they could get banned, even if they are open about doing it theres no tampering here just a big mistake by EA which they wont fix.

Ok, so they want to fix it. Well, they wrote the game, they can just snap their fingers and send out an update, right? Wrong. They've got to re-code an entire section of the game, one that relates to save/load operations and stats, and make SURE that the new patch doesn't create any MORE glitches or exploits (this takes more playtest). Then once they have the patch coded and tested, they have to run it by Microsoft and Sony to get approval to launch it, which also costs them money. (To be fair, it's hardly like EA has a shortage of funds - I'm just pointing out it's another layer of complexity to the process of launching a patch.) After all this is done, they can schedule the patch launch day with MS and Sony and then deploy the patch on that day. However, as you can see, it's definitely not as easy as just changing the sheets. If they're trying to retroactively catch people who have already used this exploit and have cheated-stats characters, that makes the whole process take even longer, since it involves totally new code not in the original game rather than just a rewrite of existing code.
My point is, I believe EA is aware of this and working on the problem. A lot of care and development clearly went into MMA. I don't think they would just wash their hands of a major problem like this. We just need to be patient. In the meantime, my advice is simply not to play ranked. I personally dislike the idea of ranked battles and online rankings anyway, though I acknowledge they have their place. Rankings in competitive online games tend to bring out the worst sportsmanship and attitudes in people, though. I avoid them religiously. JMO, take with a grain of salt.|||

Yes about 2 weeks ago this completely broke publicly. Many knew about it from release but just kept it to themselves to exploit it. Once I found out I made a video with the proof, not of how to do it but what it was allowing users to do. I posted it here in the community and in pms to THill and NicLaing. Both are aware and are working on a fix for this. But as DreamingSky said its not just a snap of the fingers and its fixed. Its something they are working on. Hopefully soon we'll have an update released that will erase this error and we all can continue on playing like normal. At this point its really a moot point to continue to bring it up and attempt to identify these users. In reality these users are just doing something that in available in the game to do so it is what it is. I've faced a quite a few glitched cafs and have beaten several. Honestly for those of us who are still attempting to actually play the game and not cheat it this is a great learning tool. If we can learn to survive with this glitch available we will be that much better when the glitch goes away and we're back to an even playing field and they are struggling because they don't have HW power anymore|||

Just watch the replay of the fight. Then go back to quick match and back to that weigthclass and his fighter will be selectable. Then you can just view the stats.

The were finally made aware of how this glitch was being done so they could start working on a patch but it also opened the gates for all of the mid level players to start glitching their caf and that leave us where we are.
Continually getting worse because of posts like this bringing the light back to the issue. If you fight someone you think is glitched or you find is glitched and want to make someone aware of it. Get your proof send a pm to the above mentioned people. If something can be done we'll make sure it can be done. Then write down the name and just don't fight them.
We all will know who was using these glitched cafs once the patch is live because they will go back to being sucky players. But all posts like this do in the end is bring light to an issue that we really don't need more of.|||

I took these steps from another thread here but cant find it to give credit so whoever posted them credit goes to you. Anyway, this is a sure way to catch the cheaters. Here is what you do, immediately after your ranked fight go watch the replay of that fight. When you are done both fighters that were used in that fight (his and yours) will be available to select. You then go back to quick match and choose that weightclass again. Look for his fighter and viola! You can see the stats of the CAF he used. :) I did this a few days ago and caught loN CaPoNe. He swore up and down he didnt cheat. He obviously had no idea that you can check. lol

This is all hypothetical. Its what you THINK ppl will do. Its not a fact. How many ppl have you heard of who seenthis thread and went off to find the cheat? and who are you to say what the common thought process is around here. Do you know everyone? Hell you havent even been here 2 months while I've been here over a year. I think I would know more than you about what the common thought process is around here. Even if this DOES inspire someone to go look for it it would be a small %. More ppl will benefit from this thread than be hurt by it. Dont you realize you are the ONLY one who opposes this thread? lol Like I said, if you know of a "better" way then do it yourself instead of spending your time in here judging my way and arguing and tyring to pass your OPINION and what you THINK will happen off as fact.
